Night To Shine - Buddies + Volunteers, (GALT,CA)

We need the help of over 200 volunteers to create this amazing night for our honored guests.

This event will be held at Galt High School, 145 N Lincoln Way, Galt, CA, 95632.

There's something for nearly everyone to do. From younger kiddos helping to celebrate our guests as they walk the red carpet, to teen and adult buddies, clean up crew, and so much more.

Not available on the night of the event? No problem! There is plenty of work to do in the days leading up to Night to Shine.

A Buddy is one of the best jobs at Night to Shine. 

They get to spend the entire night with an honored guest. This means you get to see them walk down the red carpet, pose for pictures, visit Karaoke or take a ride in a Limo, dance the night away, and of course crown them King or Queen of the prom at the end of the night. A Buddy’s main job is to make sure the guest is enjoying their evening and is never left out of the fun!

There will be a training session required for all volunteers before the event, so you will be well prepared for your role.  Our Buddies do not need to have any experience working with people in the special needs community.  However, if you do have experience please let us know when you register.

You need to be at least 14 years old at the time of the event to volunteer. All participants under 18 require parent permission to volunteer.
